St. Aidan's Church Ministries

Casserole Ministry

Organized distribution of meals through church volunteers who prepare and deliver them. For example, deliveries may be to the ill, the injured or to assist a family celebrating the arrival of a new baby.

Chancel Guild

A group of dedicated volunteers, ensuring that all of the practical (sacramental equipment) and aesthetic elements (flowers, candles) are on hand, properly organized and displayed.

Communion Assistants

Members of the parish are appointed by the priest to assist in the administration of the Eucharist at Sunday services.

Counters

Counters of our weekly offerings.

Eucharistic Ministry

Lay people trained to administer the Sacrament of Holy Communion to shut-ins and the sick. They provide comfort by their presence and maintain a connection between the church and those who cannot attend worship services.

Hospitality

Plan and prepare fellowship meals and funeral luncheons for the church with a team of volunteers.

Lectors

Assist in public worship through reading and prayer.
